Everyone loves to hate on them, but they are fun to watch and they are both winners. White trash vs. thug persona. As much as I want to hate MH, it makes me think that that is how other SEC fans felt about the honey badger.

I think/thought TM was the Dennis Rodman of CFB, for his tenure

Tyrann didn't blatantly taunt every away stadium the way Henderson did. Plus it's football, it requires a little thug. Basketball @ Ole Miss, not so much.

henderson acts more like a thug on the court than TM did on the football field.

Mathieu was one of the most decorated sophomores in NCAA football HISTORY. He's truly one of the biggest game-changers in recent league memory.

Henderson doesn't even shoot 40% from the field.

ETA: Find a more average "thug" in college football to compare Henderson to.

Whether they admit it or not, opposing fans enjoy hating good players--particularly players who receive a great deal of media attention. Perpetuating and manufacturing the enmity is part of the heroin-like rush provided by college sports.
