Has there ever been a time when a conference has dominated college athletics so completely across the board? Really impressive to see all the lists at one time. I didn't include some of the other sports that not every school participates in, like wrestling. I also stopped doing women's sports because the list is too long already. The glaring absence is basketball. Time to change that. If any of the rankings are off or I missed someone, blame the NCAA rankings, not the messenger.

WCBB has 7 teams in the NCAA tourney and most are high seeds. Dores are the lowest and they still pulled a 9 seed.

Yeah, I thought about doing a different list for the women because that thing was getting ridiculously long. Didn't want to leave them out but had to cut if off.

No need to list basketball. 1 team I think. I did acknowledge the glaring absence and the need to change it.

The SEC schools that participate in some of the lower participation sports are doing well too. I know Kentucky is 2 I think in rifle. Mizzou is 4 in wrestling. I'm sure there's others.

ETA - And Ole Miss is 9 in rifle.

Yet you put softball at the top of your list. Interdasting.

Since 2006, the SEC has had at least one team play for the national title in 15 of the last 21 Big Three (Baseball, Basketball, Football) Championship games.

We have won 13.

I'd say that is as dominating as you can get.

I was originally going to do both mens and womens. Started with softball after seeing the SEC standings thread in softball. Got through the mens sports and called it quits. I can delete it if it will make you sleep better at night.
