But we have 3 other D-linemen we are in it for with more impressive film. 2 being from the state, and one that already camped and received an offer.
We took 1000 D-linemen last class, we aren't doing that this year.

Hes never visited LSU so the coaches are making him come in for a visit before its accepted ...

He has a MASSIVE frame, he's skinny as hell now but that frame and his playing style will keep him at DE. More of a wide frame speed rushing DE than an athletic guy

Bucc, I have to hand it to you.
You are more reasonable on this kid than 2/3 of the LSU fans.
The kid may not be a physical specimen... but he can be. And his instincts are extremely rare. Good use of the hands, and sifts through traffic very well. Those are things much harder to practice/improve than reps of 225....

Well I played DE so I always like to watch film if Bama offers a kid or if other SEC schools land a commitment etc
He has a knack for the position and again MASSIVE frame and he isn't ultra athletic but a great power base and gets off with good explosion on snap. Moves well inside a blocker better more natural movement for him and the best attribute is vision and dissecting ability. I like his film a good bit

That's not true just has to visit and meet coaches not be evaluated in camp.hes ours

I wonder why he hasn't been officially rated on 247 but his teammate (other DE) is a 4* on there.

Looking at his Hudl film I dont see this kid playing DE. He is playing LB on his highlights for the most part. Put 15-20 lbs on him and he might be a pretty good Mike LB...
