I'm curious as to where your top 3 go-to places to grub are in Oxford. Doesn't matter if it's somewhere nice to sit down or just something to grab on the go.

TIA

I've seen two mentions of Volta and am a little surprised. Maybe my experiences there weren't typical but they weren't very good.

If you like authentic tacos, there's a little dive behind Oby's on University that does them well. You can also order horchata there, though it isn't on the menu.

I ate at soul shine once and wasn't a fan.

We got pizza and it just seemed too dry and seasony.

But I'm sure everyone has a bad experience here or there at a place.

After a rebel win, the best place is Pizza Den and it's not close. Another smaller lesser known place for really good pick up lunch is LBs Meat Market.

There can be no top 3 for me but due to recent memory I'd say Volta, Ajax and BBB. I have Ajax and BBB on a pretty consistent basis. I think my favorite places change all the time though.

Ajax

LB's Meat-market

Pizza Den

ETA:

South Depot- great burritos. similar to moe's

Boure - up there too but it will eat your wallet if you go there a lot. best to bring a slam there to impress her.

BBB = hangover cure

El Milagro/ Papitos - great place to get tanked if you're underage. food is pretty meh just like most Mexican restaurants

chicken on a stick - late night

newks/ abners / Mcalister's - chains that started in oxford. All pretty good, fast and cheap

Is El Milagro the one on Jackson Ave across from BP, just before you get to campus? If so, that place is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant.
