If mizzou manages to get past CSU (no easy wins for us...), will kentucky fans show up and support Mizzou against Louisville? Just wondering..

If kU was playing Kentucky at Mizzou Arena I would buy tickets and support Kentuck for sure.

fricking mizzou fans, shite you guys are needy. Acting like the SEC took your virginity or something

Louisville has a home game for this. We are getting no support.

I would doubt it bro. Most wouldnt buy a ticket to a game unrelated to their team, when we have a low chance of winning anyways.

Stripes, but it is Louisville. Wouldn't that be more like if UK was playing kU in Missouri's home? If UK was playing kU in COMO, I would buy a ticket and root for UK.

No they won't. They made it clear in a thread below that they will pussy out and not protect their town from Louisville the way we would protect Columbia MO from ku and boo them, because UK-Louisville isn't a real rivalry in that regard. Then after telling you that, the UK fans will tell you about how we have no Final Fours and should therefore STFU about anything to do with basketball ever even regarding the NCAA touranment that we are currently playing in while they are in the NIT. That's about the long and short of it.

I expected more from them but received less. I can't imagine ku coming into Columbia without all of us not only showing up to boo them at the game, but also guarding the freeway entrance ramps with pitchforks and knives denying them access to our town. UK-Louisville is apparently more pansy arse when it comes to the rivalry aspect of it I guess.

Don't ever doubt the BBN. I would say support would be 50/50 at worst. I know putting UL in Lexington is going to call for extra security downtown this week.

I understand, but there are not many rivalries like Mizzou - kansas. UK Fans I am sure will be pulling for us. The difference is not many will go out of the way to do it. But yes, if MU or kU were in the opposite town, that would absolutely happen.

I was talking to my Dad about how the UL Fans will probably catch hell at the bars and everything. But I thought it would end once they got inside of Rupp.

Dumb arse, you're not even part of the SEC yet in the eyes of many. Big Blue Nation might show up in force. It wont be to cheer for you though. It'll be to pull against Louisville.

I suppose it is just different. Even if it wasn't to pull for UK or any other team, I have to believe everything in the world would be done to make sure kU would have ZERO home court advantage by playing in COMO. The thought of them playing in COMO sickens me alone.

I don't give a frick whether they cheer for us or not -- pulling against Louisville is the same as cheering for us as far as I'm concerned though.

Can you even imagine kU fans using Mizzou Arena as their "home" court? There is no way in hell that would ever happen.

Well the Big 12 was a better hoops league anyway so that'd be a compliment but whatever. And no I don't expect you to cheer for us or Colorado State that'd be retarded. I did expect you to protect your town from Louisville and cheer against them like a real rivalry but I'm getting a much more pussy vibe from you guys about that. Not a blood rivalry though, I realize that part.

Exactly. I would die before I let Mizzou Arena give kU an advantage.

Place would look like South Central LA circa 1992. Up in smoke.

This hasnt been mentioned, but I think it will help our cause that UK has to go play at RMU in their first round NIT Game. RMU only hods 3,000 people so that are a lot of people that might want to just check out a local tournament game.

Rupp wont be home court for them. They don't even have a majority in their own city.

Stop being such a whiny vag because you started thread begging for UK fans to come root for your team instead of leaving that to your own fanbase.

No one said they won't root for you if they're in the building. They very likely will. But no one is buying up tickets (as you asked) just for that though.

I think what it means is if UK were to play the Ville in St. Louis in the tourney, we're supposed to buy up as many tickets and sell them to Louisville fans? Frick that SEC brotherhood bullshite everyone tries to espouse.
