Has Missouri ever had a team that plays with less school pride than this team? It just seems that all of the players are selfish and care only about themselves.

Is it because the coaching staff and all but one player are not from Missouri? Even though Dixon only thought of himself off the floor, he was a player that gave his all on the court. Now Rosburg is the only player on the team actually from Missouri and he does not play very much.

I used to think that Missouri should go after the best players in the (world), but it seems they don't have the same pride for their school that the homegrown players have. Much of this can be attributed to the Coach, I'm sure.

When Norm was here, he lived and breathed Missouri, and made sure his players did the same. They may not have had as much talent, but they had way more heart. It is so much more enjoyable to watch when the players on the floor have the "refuse to lose" attitude, and will do whatever it takes to help win a game.

I'm not saying that we should only go after Missouri born and bred players. We should go after the best players available, and try to make them understand that the name on the front of the jersey means more than the name on the back.

I agree with you, but that's what happens when your team is made up of primarily transfers and only a couple of them were actually recruited to play at Mizzou out of high school.

Agree and will add the obvious that MA left Haith little choice in the matter.
