Why do I keep hearing uga fans say they are excited about a big offensive showdown vs us and that it should be really high scoring?
1) I feel like our offense is better than theirs?
2) If our D plays half the way they did against LSU, that'd be really good and there is no way their so called amazing offense returning would point up a bunch of points on us?
3) Finally, do these idiots even realize where they're coming to play and the atmosphere they're
Maybe because the same offense put up 28 points on the #1 defense in the country which gave up on average 10.9 points per game.
UGA will put points on the board every time they touch the ball.

Clemson fans gonna Clemson fan was a good laugh though

To answer number 2, LSU's offense wasn't a third of our offense last year and they still scored 24 points

It was pretty obvious LSU wasn't thrilled by playing in the CFA Bowl. The team kinda just half-assed it & had no emotion IMO & still shoulda won minus the clock mgt at the end. Pretty sure LSU woulda won by 2 TD's if they weren't so flat & unmotivated...

2nd and 2 and you throw the ball with Hill in the backfield

They're talking about blowing us out and a national title run

Every fan of Clemson/SCAR in the state is delusional. My best friend is a Cock and he still thinks they were the best team in the nation 2 years running. I never had any issues with Clemson fans, but lately I've found them to be as annoying as our little friends in Columbia.

Good grief. They're like Vandy fans last year who thought they would beat UGA. They completely ignore facts.

I got a good feeling how this game will go first two possessions they will stop us bc they will be jacked up by the atmosphere then third possession will be heavy dose of Gurley and Marshall then the O will explode

Another point. Including the "sisters of the poor" games, LSU scored on average 29 points per game. Clemson held them to 24. Again, not really an achievement to hang your hat on.
Really, the win over LSU is meaningless as a measuring stick for their defense as LSUs offense struggled to find an identity last year.
Auburn held them to 12 and Arkansas held them to 20
Last point: Clemson came out flat last year and almost lost to one of the worst teams in the history of the SEC (auburn) last year

They will not stop us... the entire game.

Not saying we can't score every possession but it's tge first game big atmosphere there will be some nerves but once they get settled and tge first hits out of the way tge O will explode I'm thinking at the least 45 points
Posted on 3/17/13 at 11:52 am to socrow
If we don't score 35 ill be shocked

Clemson averaged 42 points per game against shitty shitty ACC defenses and is losing their best WR, their only running back worth a damn, only proven TE and a veteran center.
UGA averaged 37 points per game. UGA is bringing back all starters except TK who will be replaced by Rumph (better than TK). 2nd best QB in college football and will be the all time leading passer in the NCAA halfway though the season. The best RB duo in all of college football hands down. Maybe the deepest and most complete WR class in the country and an experienced, big, deep, and really good o line.
To even hint at UGA not cracking 20 is just pure delusion and or bad research.

I think all the posts are comical. Love how the USCe guy tried to stick up for the SEC, then a Clump$on guy says it should be 11-0 vs 11-0 at the end of the season for their matchup. They are delusional

Who plans on being there? I'm planning on going up with several UGA and Clemson friends. We're going to frick up The Esso after we win.

So Clemson gives up 48 points to NC State at home but they hold an anemic LSU offense to 24 points and all of a sudden they have a stout defense?
All of these biased predictions are laughable to say the least.
