Talking about things that made me go hmmmm with the coaching, maybe I'm wrong but didn't Bell guard Henderson in the first 2 games and held him to UNDER his season average. Could swear Brown guarded him most of the game last night and Henderson went for 25 or whatever.

I'd refuse to watch the game again to check and see, but I think we were switching a lot. I remember Bell starting on him often, but Brown would get switched on screens.

Yeah, I'm not going back and checking. Was probably just me. Every time I'd pay attention in the game it was Brown, but I wasn't keeping an eye on it for the entirety.

I'm pretty sure Brown was the primary defender on Henderson whenever Bell sat, but Ole Miss just runs so many screens for him.

I think their coach made a great move in benching Henderson to start the 2nd half, it really seemed to get him going.

The screen pics on Mizzou for Henderson didn't work in that last game at Mizzou.

They used those screen pics alot more to free Henderson up this last game and in the process, Bell and Brown both were on him. They both were getting caught up in screens.

But Henderson is like most shooters. Once they get a sniff of the goal and hit a few, they're on and hard to stop.

Henderson got his game going by driving the ball to the hoop and scoring. Kids a talent and a half, just a piece of shite as a person (my opinion). That chickenshit foul move he pulled with Ross was pure act. Ross didn't even know what was wrong with him, Henderson just fell to the floor.

Your so right that flop foul on Ross was pathetic. Shows what is so wrong with SEC officiating. They let brawls get started in the paint but then react and call a foul because they hear Henderson on the ground and assume he was shoved. How can you call something like that if they werent even watching it first? That was pretty sad.

I def agree with all of you guys on the fact that it is hard to judge Haith because it is all new guys. Very hard to judge him in that situation, but I will say these are not freshmen, they haven't played together but they do have a lot of experience. Also they have been practicing since October so ideally we would be better at some of these small points we have all mentioned.

I think overall I'm just frustrated because we have some really top level talent on this team and most years our record would be much better. Really proves how special our chemistry was last season. And to make my "what if" nightmares even worse, Dixon would have been the perfect fix for so many of our late game issues this year. Easily could have been a 2 or 3 seed season again for us.
