What would you think about him replacing barbee he turned FIU around in one year it would be a big name which should help in recruiting

I would be ecstatic. Even if he's only had one year of success, he'd probably be a better experiment than Barbee was. We definitely need to take a chance on him, but is there a possibility of him leaving his program so soon?

No decent coach in his right mind is going to take the job with Jay Jacobs in charge. JMO
So, we either fire Barbee and let Jacobs hire another loser or we wait for Jacobs to be fired and hire a good coach.

If we want to be series about basketball, we'll have to go out and over pay for an elite coach. No way anyone touches our program at market value pay.

Elite coaches don't come here. Someone like Pitino would be a good hire, Larry Eustachy is not too far from elite.
