We may have had on-field abortions the last two bowl games. But it looks like you have one daily on this message board.

DIAF

PS...Ya'll are really arguing based on star rankings.

The recruiting rankings I saw had LSU with three 5* players.

Rivals
QB
Rettig #3 pro style
Jennings #6 dual threat

bateman #11 pro style

Either way I would have to go with TWO very HIGHLY rated QBs over ONE.

OL
Pocic #4 OT
Boutte #7 OG
Dodd #13 OG
Malone #35 OG
Fainaka juco all american

Is robinson a done deal to the O-line? Are you just putting him there to prop up your position?
g hill #5 OT 4*
b hill 3*
brown juco 3*
mazza LS 3*

DL
a couple of those LSU D-linemen were 5*s

DBs
LSU
White 5* #4 CB
Brazil 4* #16 CB
Jefferson 4* #18 CB
Robinson 4* #26 CB

bama
smith 4* #12 CB
cook 3* #37 CB

Those were the only two DB signees listed. Who else?

That's right only three. If you think any 5* is that much better than most of the 4*s you haven't been payin attention.

If you think #1 recruiting class is that much better than #7 or #8 then you don't have a clue.

saban has just signed his seventh recruiting class at the capstone. Of those seven classes at least nine were ranked #1.

In the six SEC games between LSU and bama since saban arrived at bama the record is even at 3-3.

It can't be the coaching can it? The great one VS Miles. Can't be the talent level can it? All those 5* and 6* players for the tide VS those lowly recruits for the tigers.

So what's the reason for the .500 record?

I'll save you some time

21-0 21-0 21-0 21-0 21-0 21-0 21-0 21-0 21-0 21-0

All that score proved is saban is better at getting his team ready for a game when he has a month and a half to prepare.

Unless we meet in a season opener or a bowl the prep time for a game is one to two weeks. Less has more than held his own in that regards, two out of the last three. It took mighty mc the drive of his career to get that "W".

There isn't a chance in hell that you're older than 15.

I gave that one to bama from the get go.

That's why LSU was able to sign a couple more O-linemen, D-linemen and DBs.

All I know is, the only position on the field I will never worry about while Saban leads, is running back. Fuk Fournette, and he will prolly eventually commit to Bama, and we still won't care about him. RTR.

4-3. I know you would all like to forget 21-0, but it happened. and dont give me that garbage about regular season games. if anything, that game should count double.

I'm sure it did. And the recruiting rankings I saw (247 composite) had LSU with zero 5* players as opposed to 6 for Bama

And the LSU and BAMA games will still be neck and neck.

I forgot about that game before it was over.

Like I said earlier. As long as both teams only have a week or two to prepare I like LSU's chances. Two out the last three and 3-3 overall.

Tigers didn't lose much more than bama.

LSU's back seven on "D" will be talented and deep.

Starting front four will be solid with elite SEC quality talent. The only question is who will be the backups that see quality PT resting the starters.
