a little something I saw over on PowerMizzou from some random poster...

quote:

I got an answer from Ktgr from their facebook page. This morning Will P said they will be broadcasting tiger softball on Wednesday of this week. I sent a message on their facebook page will they block this as they have now blocked tiger baseball. Reply back was no that they are able to stream baseball again. Yeah i think a few people complained about this issue after all these years to block baseball from streaming over the internet. So all of us out of towners can now listen to tiger baseball and softball over the internet. Just wish we had some good hitting to go with our starting pitching. Gamecocks come to Columbia this weekend. Will be a real test to see if we can compete with the best.

KTGR's facebook post:

KTGR ESPN 100.5 FM & 1580 AM No, in fact, we are now able to stream baseball again, can't really go much further than that, but both softball and baseball will be on the stream at KTGR.com

Looks like we should be able to listen to the games online from here on out. Shouldn't have to send those nasty e-mails now.

So glad to hear softball will be streamed!!! I would be thrilled about baseball but they are terrible. The softball team is going to outdraw the baseball team this year and they deserve more media coverage, too.

That's awesome news Keeper. Now if we can just convince them to get those broadcast writes out to local stations in some of the bigger markets too. I won't be greedy though, and am thankful they saw the light and will let KTGR stream the games.
