I am sure Ellis Johnson will be at least as sucessful as he was at Southern Miss.

That TCU team was legit in 2010. But Cam would have dropped a steamy pile on them. He was too good.

That's true. Auburn could've gotten him cheap, too.

What's he getting at WKU?

He was my 3rd choice behind Bobby Petrino and Gary Patterson, and my 2nd realistic choice (I didn't consider Gary Patterson a true candidate, more like a pipe-dream). Gus Malzahn was my absolute last choice out of realistic coaches. However, I will say that he's done a great job of hiring assistants and off-the-field recruiters like what Nick Saban has done.

Same for me.

1. Petrino
2. Patterson
3. Smart

Gus wasn't even on my list. He is doing great so far. Have to wait and see how the team performs though.

Do you give more credit for 2010 to Chiz, or Gus?

Gus due to the offense winning the championship and that never happens.

It's true that Kirby is running the Nick Saban version of the multiple 3-4 defense but it's a great scheme to learn and Kirby knows the system, instills game plans and calls the plays from the sideline. Good luck with Ellis but I'd take Kirby over him all day.

I was wondering when it changed subject and went total fiction. The things these guys have running through those heads should stay there.
