What's the deal with Skybar? Are the owners not able to pay their bills?

The last time I was there they had the top left bar and the entire outside upstairs closed off. I've heard rumblings of financial issues from bartenders. Yeah daddy bought the bar, but he left in it in the hands of the two oddest/creepiest human beings ever.

There weren't many bars when I was there.

That's already been opened. But it's been closed most of this winter so far. Probably because its fricking cold and the heaters up there don't heat very well

Pat and Dan used to work the door at that place when I was a freshman at AU. I don't remember the name anymore, but they worked the door every weekend back then.

It has been neons, blue room and skybar.

Will I get crucified for saying I don't really like Skybar? Bunch of fricking try hards, amateurs, and high school kids.

Nope. Not at all. I went last night, and left my friends there so I could go home because I didn't want to be there anymore.

I didn't even go to the bar last night. Just drank with a bunch of folks and then went to little Italy for pitchers when we got hungry. Had no desire to deal with the crowd that would have been at Sky or 17.

The crowds weren't that bad since so many people left for Spring Break early.

Moe's had probably the worst crowd of any bar downtown.

Moes can be fun in the right situation.

And there seemed to be a lot of Southern Union folk downtown while I was out. Not the crowd I enjoy hanging out around. No offense to anyone.

It was neons at the time. They had not built the outside patio yet at that point either. It changed to Blue Room while I was still in school as well.

I believe it was UltraBox or something before that as well. Neons opened my freshman or sophmore year. Pat worked the door every night. My main wingman was sorta buddies with him or something (don't really remember) so we never paid cover and cut the line. I would do the bar hopping with a bunch of baseball players at the time. Buffaloe Connection, Bourbon Street, Finks, and Neons depending on the night of the week.

Brings in better music than most of the bars in town.
