LB's were done this morning, SDS put out their DB rankings this afternoon and here they are...

As I said about running backs I will say it about DB'S YOU COULD PUT THE TOP 3-4 and flip flop them...The one thing about Loston is he will knock your dik in the dirt..

Nickoe Whitley was garbage last year...he was much better his freshman and sophomore years especially in pass coverage

Loston may not be the best cover guy but
this is so true... Dude throws body bombs all over the place. He says "frick it" to the whole "dont lead with your head" thing...

Trust me, I wish I had any type of blog I could make money off of. I just share them here, because I think it would be a good discussion point and there is nothing else happening this offseason.
Besides, If it were my site I would be sharing much more than just SEC ranking articles.

Will Hines and Tevin Mitchell aren't going to be chopped liver this season either.
Not on campus yet (I don't think? May be..) but Carroll Washington may have an impact as well.

I never really considered Loston to be a top SEC DB. He's not bad, and lays some hard hits though

This. He's a good hard hitting run support Safety, but his coverage was bad this past year. Of course he should improve, but I just think it's odd to put him at number one based off of what we've seen. He's definitely top 10 at the worst.

I agree. I think Swann is definitely top 5 heading into next fall. Clinton-Dix is also the top DB to me.

I think HCD is the most well rounded safety in the league heading into next season. He doesn't have many weaknesses from that position. Loston is a ferocious tackler when he actually squares up and gets a bead on a guy, but he isn't as instinctive in coverage as HCD.

Poppa is the only defensive player I know of that ever drew a 15 yard personal foul penaly because of his intent to hit a WR.
