Our 2014 football schedule

@ Mississippi state
@ Ole Miss
@ Kansas State
@ Georgia
@ Alabama
LSU
A&M
Tennessee
Arkansas
That's an absolutely brutal schedule.
I don't see us in the SEC race anytime soon.

If we develop in 2013, then 2014 could be a very good year... it's not like we have a ton of seniors we're having to lean on right now... we could potentially return our starting OL, QB, RBs, etc.

We just went 3-9 and don't have a QB people. Let's not act like we've got smooth sailing in the coming years.
The way I see it we're looking at around 6 losses next year and probably 4 or 5 in 2014.

Kansas St has been on the upswing this past year or so because they were a veteran team..they don't worry me.
If we can't beat State and OM on the road consistently we don't deserve to be in this conference.
The rest are challenges.. Tennessee hasn't shown life in years so they don't worry me either.
Why are we looking ahead to 2014?

Who is on our schedule doesn't dictate whether we are mediocre or not. The notion that who we play determines how good our football program becomes over the next several years isn't intelligent.
Our level of play is determined by coaching and talent..not by who we play.

We will not play UT in 2014. Games are no longer home and home. Their is a chance we get Bama in JH two years in a row.

I see Arkansas returning to somewhat of prominence(where they were before BMFP) but I don't see UT turning around that sinking ship anytime soon. We can just pray K State doesn't get another JUCO Colin Klein. Miss State will be Miss State. Ole Miss will be improved. Johnny Football is going to wreck us likely. And the other Big 6 members will be hard matchups as always. Let's see how '13 goes before we get too in depth though.
