I know he's been coaching at ASU with Brady for the past few seasons, but he's been around Starkville a lot lately. I find this to actually be good, cause it seems him and Rick Ray have been hanging out. Honestly, it can't be anything but a good sign that a former coach decided to start spending time with Ray.

Thoughts?

Yeah can't see anything other than it being a positive. That's a good thing to see.

Really good seeing Coach Ray at the big house. Just wished he would have been at Malik Newmans game.

I like the fact Coach Williams has reached out as well

He's telling him where to spend that "locker room" money.

Yep...somebody brought Williams back in to advise Ray and I'm damn glad they did. Williams gave Ray the idea to speak to the frats and such. Williams is also helping him make contacts and bridge the gap with some boosters.

Great move by us- much like Jackie being as advisor to Mullen

Didn't Williams have to do that also?

Hopefully more eyes will be woken up soon. If we win tonight and Saturday we will have exceeded expectations by a long shot with 3 less players than we originally started with.

SC - possible. AU - probable. Both - long shot.

I'd dare to say neither are long shots by any means.

We can't afford to lay an egg in these last two games.

I think it's great. Coon's "bridging the gap..." assessment may be the biggest

Already exceeded expectations if we play these games tough and close regardless of outcome it'll be better than expected.

Why not want to win then and finish the season with motivation that will carry over into next season.

Did I say I didn't want to win them? No. I stated that regardless of the outcomes this season exceeded expectations.

Yet he has 2 college degrees. Must have been able to read something good enough.
