MSU alum donates $500,000 to upgrade the locker room. Hey Darkhorse what were you saying about big boosters taking away their money?

I hope it's 100K for locker room upgrades and 400K for recruiting upgrades.

“I believe Rick Ray has tremendous potential, and I want recruits to see that Mississippi State can have the type of facilities other national programs have,” Cupit said in the release. “And with a few enhancements to add to what we already have, I know that can be achieved. He has dealt with a lot of adversity this season, but that hasn’t stopped him from keeping this team together and fighting hard. I just wanted to do my part to help bring the program back to the level we’ve enjoyed in the past.”

I was about to say the same, ENGT.

500k will make for some extravagant upgrades. Are we going to put gold plated toilets in the locker room?

Lord knows the locker room needs some major upgrades. This will certainly help.

Yeah...not sure how just fixing the home locker room could cost 500k. New lockers, new floor, a couple of flat screens? I don't know...can't be 500k though.

I've never seen it. Is it that bad?

You could build a bad arse house for 500k in Starkville. We are talking about a room that is prob 750 sq ft.

Why didnt they renovate locker rooms when they built the Mize practice facility?

Well it has carpet and furniture that are probably 15 to 20 years old. The bathrooms are pretty bad. I'm sure the equipment room will get a renovation. They may try and extend the locker room. It's not horrible but it's not good either.

Where was that thread the other day where someone stated that OM graduates would only say "yes boss" to a MSU grad if it was in farming?

Speaking of, I don't think I've seen him post since we beat OM.

He'll be back if we lose to USCe or AU. Mumbling incoherently about how Ray took away gatorades from the team and made them take salt tablets.
