Another in a long list of reasons why the NCAA just needs to say "Memphis is off limits", That is until it get's cleaned up.
This story is just nuts....
It seems Ridgeway was disqualified from TNs state playoffs. The reason.... they had a 22 year old playing who had a GED.
That's not the whole story. It seems the guy, McKinzie Sewell, had his wife fake transcripts from a school in Shreveport. After being exposed, it turns out he's a gang banger from New Orleans.
Leading up to being exposed, asst coach of Ridgeway was murdered.

Worst dump ever, outside of Detroit. Only Mike DumBose would recruit there.

That's why you get boosters to adopt the kids for a couple years prior to college. It helps them develop skills to be contributing members of society.

That's way screwed up. I remember a basketball player in the Baton Rouge area named Steele Davis (I think) from a few years ago that did the same thing.

For a couple hundred thousand and a high school coach willing to deal, heard you can pick up a MEANS football player in Memphis. Not sure if that is true or not, only heard a rumor about it

While I agree that Memphis is a cesspool, this story is more about a worthless pos from Louisiana moving to Memphis and causing trouble than trouble originating from Memphis.

Memphis...corrupt to the core and why anyone would live inside the city limits is beyond belief.
Projects, crack, whores, gambling...just some of the stuff that takes a backseat to Memphis high school athletics.
