Who are y'all hoping for as the new AD?

Assuming Jacobs gets kicked to the curb sometime in the next half-century.
Baird's not in any state to do it anymore, though he would've been my first choice. Sullivan's name has been thrown around, but I can think of a thousand reasons why that may not be a very good idea.
Scott Etheridge? Sounds like either him or Baird would've gotten the job until a certain megabooster decided to pull some strings to get it to his son-in-law. I also heard/read somewhere (might've been here) that the whole reason Mac Crawford was on the coaching search committee was because the university was preparing to usher him in as AD once Jacob "retires."
I don't really know much about either of these guys, but those are the names thrown around the most here and on the Bunker. Part of me would also like us actually do a "coast-to-coast" search and bring in some new, unrelated blood that has zero connections to the good ol' boy network.
I hate us sometimes. Fire Gouge, fire Jacobs, fire the janitor.

Auburn has so much potential with the money and access to hot recruiting beds in nearly every sport.

I think Scott Ethridge is the best candidate we could hope would take the job. He was a part of the athletic program and has media connections. I think he could be excellent for us if he can manage to raise 90% of the money that Jacobs can.

What makes u think Baird couldn't do it?
That being said, Baird is the only "Auburn man" I guess I would want for the job. If we can't get him, go out and get somebody fresh that has no previous affiliation with Auburn.

I have a family friend that works closely with the Saints. He's extremely business savvy, an Auburn grad (he was David Housel's roommate at one point), has really good relationships with Pat and Bo, etc. He and Jay don't see eye-to-eye. We think he's looking for a change of venue so we've been subtly pushing the idea of him taking over. We think he would take the job just out of spite of JJ

Like Auburn would hire outside the "family." It is to laugh.
Also Id like to throw my hat in the ring. Im sure I could have us in last place in every sport that matters for a mere $200 per day.
