Pretty sure they haven't caught on yet.

I gave them two years but I forgot they are Arkansas, it will take a little longer than it should but they will get there.

I've said it before: We were thrilled to see Mike Anderson arrive and just as thrilled to see him leave.

Your fans on TigerBoard were in complete denial about the rumors Anderson was going to Arkansas. Didn't sound very enthusiastic about his departure.

Mizzou fans have only become "thrilled to see him leave" after the fact, in order to make themselves feel better.

This is the dumbest post I've seen in a while. Arkansas fans have wanted this style for a long time. We aren't winning as much as we want yet, but Mike has brought a lot of energy back to the program.

The only ones who want Mike gone are the few who never wanted him to begin with because of how Richardson left.

Who are you trying to fool?

I live in Missouri, I have tons of Missouri friends.

You aren't going to fool me, Haith is a mediocre coach and 8 of my 10 Missouri fan friends agree and can't stand him.

You can fool some other Arky fans into thinking you love Haith, but not me, take that shite elsewhere.

We've improved significantly this year over last year. That's what I expect a great coach to do - not win a championship every year. We're also recruiting really well for 2013, and the 2012 guys all look like they fit the system and will be able to step up next year.

frick Suitcase Mike Anderson

Suitcase? Do you not know that Anderson spent 17 years as an assistant to Nolan Richardson? He finally took a head coaching job at UAB to break into the head coaching ranks (and who is going to stay there long?.) Took a step up to Missouri for a while and probably would have stayed there a long time had the job that he had spent the biggest part of his career at came open. Arkansas just ran too deep in Anderson. Don't think you can brand his as 'suitcase' based on his career path.

Our mediocre coach is gonna beat that arse on Tuesday. Blee dat. We'll let you have the moral victory of superior coaching.

I would really hope so considering our NIT already beat your NCAAT team once, a sweep would just be LOL.

No Arkansas fan is going to really care too much, this is just like a 2 game baseball series against a top team, you'd love to get the sweep, and after winning Game 1 you are relaxed and comfortable about game 2 knowing the worst you can do is split the series. No sweat here.

But I will agree with the mediocre coach part.

Again, I sincerely hope you win. The entire Mizzou fanbase has created a myth to soothe their soul after getting spurned by Anderson. "We wanted him to leave. He's not that good anyway."

I don't know if y'all could handle losing to him twice in the same season.

Pretty sure the topic was Suitcase Mike Anderson?
Lame attempt at a bate and switch!

The jury is still out on Haith, last year was an amazing run but he doesn't show well in big games and has a crappy OT W/L record.

So, back to suitcase Mike, Let's see if you are still on the bandwagon in a year or so.

No need to rub it in. Life is already hard enough for a Mizzou fan. All their talent (Mike Anderson, Sam Walton, Frank Broyles, BJ Young, Ronnie Wingo, etc.) abandons the state for Arkansas as soon as they get the chance.

Hell, they've never even been to a Final Four. I feel bad for the poor guys.

Mizzou - Hope you guys can pull it off Tuesday. I know how much it would mean to you.

I love when UltimateHog comes in here to tell us how impressed he is with Anderson's style of basketball as they are going to miss the postseason for the second straight year.

Yeah, it's kinda like Bama fans were under Shula. Had to lie to ourselves to deal with the pain. Deep down we knew, we knew.

Ya know, I'd almost care if we weren't rebuilding from a terrible sequence of years with little talent to build on.

I'd be much much more disappointed in my new coach if he inherited one of the most talented teams in the country and fell on his face in the NCAAT to be honest.

Possibly.

Bobby Portis is Arkansas' first McDonalds All American since Corliss...

Was he on the roster for our '89 and '90 Final Four and Elite Eight runs?
