I'm going to be in town this weekend, and had planned to hit up some of my favorite restaurants from when I lived there (which was about 15 years ago). Had planned to go to The King and I Friday night, but from reading some of the Yelp reviews, I'm worried it's not as good as when I was last there. Anyone been there lately? Is this true?

If so, any suggestions? Already got The Hill covered Saturday night. Staying at The Westin, and would prefer something rather casual, since we'll just have flown in.

I used to LOVW The King and I, it was fantastic, and Miss Sue, the owner/manager was amazing. But I haven't eaten there in years. Sorry I can't be more help.

You can always count on some fantastic places on The Hill though. Have fun!!

This looks like the type of place the hubby would LOVE! Too bad he just had heart bypass surgery!

I may just chance it and go to The King and I anyway. I get very few opportunities to eat Thai (Mr. Piggy doesn't really care for Asian food), but he can't say no on my birthday!
