Marcus is a risky pick this year for obvious reasons. He likely will make little to no impact on his team this upcoming year but he is an absolute beast when healthy. Do you think he is just "too injury prone" or is he draftable?

No. Focus on getting Stephen Jackson in FA, then get another back in the draft that hasn't had two reconstructed knees. Quizz is more than servicable as a backup.

Le'veon Bell is a possibility, Eddie Lacy is a pipe dream, imo.

I kinda want us to take a chance on Knile Davis in the 5th or 6th

I want Lacy too. Bad. But just don't believe he falls to us.

Oh I agree, Id much rather focus on a couple OL, and a pass rusher

If Lattimore is sitting there in the 4th round or so, then absolutely. The talent is undeniable and with a pick that late, the reward outweighs the risk. Any round higher than that then no.

Yep. Regardless of what Tony G does as well, Dimitroff has to do some homework and find a good replacement at TE as well.

you think he'll fall that far after killing the combine? that'd be nice. but steven jackson is what i want as an impartial spectator who wants mercy from watching jacksonville

I think with his underwhelming year he might. Who knows if we have to get him like in the 4th I would.

Years from now ML could end up being a fantastic RB, but it seems like it'd be silly to draft him high this year, especially since it doesn't really seem like that's what the falcons need.

And btw I'm not a falcons fan and don't follow them so I don't know what I'm talking about.

If we're able to sign SJ it would make even more sense to pick him up with a later round pick if he's there.

yea, between the knee and that abysmal year i agree he lost some cash. but that being said, that dude straight up beasted bench and 40. not that those are solid indicators of success but hell, i'd take him over latty at this point. getting him that late would be friggin awesome.

that'd be like lightning and thunder-lightning in the backfield. still, who doesn't get a little bit of a chub imagining steven jackson in the backfield? that'd be awesome till he got hurt by game 5

Depends on what round we could get him in. His knee injuries wouldnt concern me as much if he were a 2nd-4th round pick.

Well, I guess with any other pick coming off of injury, it's a risk-reward decision and based off your needs.

I'm not a Falcons fan, and didn't have any Falcons on my FFB team, so I don't know about the depth at RB already. I would assume you're looking for Turner's replacement, but I thought y'all had a decent 3rd down back in Rodgers.

I do not think Lattimore will go in the 1st round or even the 2nd honestly. I think he may go in the 3rd round if he can showcase his rehabilitation more. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see him available still in the 4th either.

If you guys pick a RB with your first pick, there's no need to go after Lattimore. Is that what it looks like y'all are going to do?

I think Lattimore will come back even stronger from this rehab. He's already put on 20 lbs while improving his BMI. I think he would be a steal of a pick in the 4th to anybody, but he may be a project and not able to be a full go until the Reg Season.

The idea when starting this thread was him being a late round pick. I think he is projected as a 3rd-4th round pick. That is where you begging to question whether he is worth the pick. I think he is well worth it especially if you're not highly depending on an immediate impact player.

Yes I think he is worth it. He's a damn good running back and he's tough as nails.
