From reading the opinions the A&M fan have of Texas fans, it becomes quite clear that longhorns as a whole posses the worst qualities typically found in a person. They would have you believe that they are self centered, obnoxious, arrogant, and basically low down scum.

Aggies, however, like to think of themselves as good, humble, hard working, salt of the earth type folks.

These of course are both stereotypes, and can't be used as an ultimate measure. But there is a reason that stereotypes exists, and this is the perception.

Then you have Manziel, who is worshipped at A&M to a degree that is rarely seen in college athletics. Why is this the case? He protrudes many of the characteristics scorned by the Aggie faithful that are usually reserved for tu jabs. One could go on and on with examples of such, which include his recent lawsuit against a fellow Aggie (Since Manziel is in no need of any financial assistance), his notorious party lifestyle, the fact that he feels too important to have to physically attend class, as well as countless other small acts of douchebaggery.

It vexes me how the A&M fanbase embraces these actions when they embody the attitude of the institution they so fervently try to distance themselves from. It just seems a bit hypocritical to me.

I personally have no problems with his actions, being that I am a fan of another douchebag school. I would honestly being doing the same thing.

The biggest point to the whole thing is that he grew up a Texas fan, and wanted to play there. He knew what type of person he was at heart, and he's still that person to this day.

Is this going to become one of those episodes where it turns out Manziel was only dating A&M to take to his "who can find the ugliest girl" fraternity party?

He's good at football. He fits at any program in the nation that'll play him at QB so that actually eliminates tu.
