And? 116 years and no titles. We still haven't had 100 years as a program. Our pace, at this point seems to be better than SCarolinas, no?

And that is why, also, Liberty is a solid team where as Western Illinois is just god awful.

I posted this in another thread, but Western Illinois won 16 games last year, 20 the year before that and 14 the year before that. Liberty has won 41+ games in 2 of the past three years.
Liberty baseball > Western Illinois baseball....and USC didn't talk as much crap.

No, the pace isn't as good. We can look at chronological pace and CWS appearances over length of program, this is true. However, what matters in this league is championships and for baseball specifically, it is a big deal to even get to the CWS.
Therefore, we've had incredible accelerated growth in the past 11 years that can't be overshadowed by the lack of success in the first 50 years of the program. It's not like there's a magic circumstance for y'all that once you hit 100+ years you win a CWS. You either do it whenever, or you don't.

I'm not attempting to make anyone feel better.
Point is, if you go enough at some point you will win one(unless you're FSU). We've been to 3 under DVH and been to post season play 12 years running. We will get ours, no doubt in my mind.
My point was, we could do it in less time than it took Cocky.
