It was "on the Ole Miss website" in exactly the same way as a student webpage on the Ole Miss servers. (I assure you, the paper I wrote about Kazaa and posted on my university webpage back in the day was in no way reflective of the university's official stance on special cases of Bertrand markets.)
You pointed it out, for which I'm sure most of us are grateful, and it was removed because it was inaccurate and on an outdated page.

beth as in the Hebrew letter, not the feminine name. It's a joke about cardinalities of non-countable sets that's only funny to me, my brother, and one econ professor. It did evolve from an infinity symbol tramp stamp I saw at the beach, but implicit to the humor is the fact that women can't do math, let alone make jokes about it on sports message boards.

nah, frick Vandy. The one thing all Vandy students have in common: they were rejected by the schools they actually wanted to attend.
I'd guess that the proportion of Ole Miss students who got into Ivy League schools is substantially higher than the proportion of Vandy students who could say the same.
All joking aside, the Honors College at Ole Miss is doing some incredible things under the radar. It should get serious consideration from anybody wanting a quality education in the South.
