You gotta hand it to Mizzou fans. They are not even in the top three in one of the shittiest years in memory for the SEC, and still talking trash like they're Duke.

Cheers to you, Li'l Tiggers. Keep hope alive.

Just defending ourselves. We are actually a prety classy fanbase until attacked.

You have a pretty favorable conference schedule. If I recall correctly, you play Ole Miss, Mizzou, Kentucky, Arkansas and Florida only 1 time apiece.

Umm having "something for Mike" sounds like a premeditated attack, not defending yourself

I also have to disagree from personal experience. A Missouri redneck yelled at me "frick you you guys are fricking terrible" yesterday.

Yep sounds like a

Yeah holding up a sign with Marshall Henderson's little sister's name and number on it reading "For a good time call ....." is pretty damn classy

The problem with that is that the tournament selection committee isn't bound to take the conference teams in order. Especially with an unbalanced conference schedule. I believe Tennessee finished 2nd in the SEC last year and missed the tourney while Florida who finished behind them made it.

I don't think they even consider conference record unless you have a losing record in conference or you are fighting for a 1 seed.

Why should they take conference standings in the SEC into consideration? You can play a bunch of tough nonconference games and then finish middle of the pack in conference and vice versa.. Conference standings shouldn't matter, it's all about RPI

You are correct. Bama only makes the tourney if they win the SEC tourney and that just ain't happening.

The ESPN BPI has Ole Miss at 33 and Mizzou at 31. If Mizzou is a lock so is Ole Miss.

BPI is just something ESPN uses, it has no effect on the selection committee

I believe it was your players that missed the free throws, not the refs

ETA: Way to just give in that y'all are not a classy fanbase

A guy yelled at you after you probably tried to frick with him. I am sorry this was a traumatic experience for you, you seem to still be rattled.

I wasn't fricking with him, just asking if he still had faith in haith?

I needed to print out the "you sho is angry" pic for this douche. He was acting like his team had just lost a rivalry game or something

I suspect you have significantly more difficulty with IRL situations than you do on the Rant. Just don't hold up any meme pictures in a job interview.

Yeah, Bama lost it's dance card when they choked against a terrible Auburn team.

Florida is the only team that deserves an invite.

The Gators are in a class by themselves.

I'm not that impressed by Ole Miss, but they will probably get in the NCAA tournament.

I realize this is true to an extent. But I don't think there are any specifics that the committee HAS to use. My point is not all RPI ratings calculate the same and thus the committee may actually look at several different ratings. It is at their discretion.
