ACHA Division 3 Regional Tournament

This is the league that most of the SEC schools play hockey in. 4 SEC schools are in the regional tournament that is currently under way in Columbia, SC. The division is broken up into 4 regions (pacific, north, atlantic, and south). The top two teams from each region gets and automatic bid to national tournament. 4 SEC teams qualified for the 8 spots South regional tournament. The top two teams in the regional tournament will also advance to the national tournament.

12:00pm - (6) Loyola - (7) Mississippi
2:30pm - (4) Arkansas - (9) Christopher Newport in OT
5:00pm - (3) FGCU - (10) NC - Wilmington
7:30pm - (5) Alabama - (8) South Carolina

Ole Miss, Arkansas, and FGCU won their games and Alabama is beating SC 2-0 at the end of the first.

Tomorrow, Ole Miss will play FGCU and Arkansas will play the winner of the UA/USC game.

The National tournament will be in Springfield, MO on March 12-16.
