I'll admit it, I dig the Gamecocks "SC" logo on the baseball unis

Why is this not used on the football helmets? I get the whole wanting to be branded as just "Carolina" but still:

I also love the logo. But I dont think it goes as well on the football helmets...
The university was considering alternatives when they had to fight the P.E.T.A people over the Gamecock being a fighting chicken and the sport being outlawed etc.. etc.. here was one proposal.
Just not the same though..

I actually like both logos but the baseball logo is definitely the best of the two. It's a nice, classic look.

Yeah I used to have these pics on my old computer that were actual helmets with the baseball logo on them. One was garnet and one was black with a white baseball logo.
They both looked badass individually but they seemed less flattering when I pictured seeing them on an entire team.
eta I found them.

One reason not to use it in football is bc that is a classic baseball looking logo. That and I like their football logo to

I like USCe's helmets they have now. Their black tops/white pants uni's are one of the sharpest in the SEC IMO

No, the "block C" as we call it is awesome IMO. I'd like to see us go with the same block C with a garnet helmet. That would be sick.

The black helmet looks awesome with this logo.

Nope, the block C with the fighting cock is way better than the SC "bone" letters. You have to look at it real hard just to see what the letters are. There is a place in American life for "tradition", and it starts with baseball

Love the interlocking SC on the baseball hats.
But thats it, it does not belong on a football helmets. I think it looks terrible on a football helment.

I like this helmet. Y'all should wear these w/ whites.
I do agree that for a ball cap the "SC" does look better than the traditional block C with the chinese bird dragon.

South Carolina has the ugliest logo in the SEC, bar none.

I like the garnet helmets. Wish y'all would go back to those.

Our all-white jerseys with the white helmets is so fresh. We wore them for the Clemson game and I wish we would wear them more often.

it's no block "ATM", that's for sure...
A&M has the worst color scheme in the conference, IMO... gray and maroon...
