There is nothing in baseball I despise more than seeing a flatbill. They should just leave the fricking stickers and price tag on them while they are at it.

Was just going to say this myself. Baseball guys have been rockin' flatbills since before they got popular.

We rocked them when I was in high school but they weren't the wide brim flat bills that you see wanna be thugs rock these days. They didn't look douchey.

Flat bill hats are more functional for baseball. They have a wider brim, so no amount of bending is going to stick, they'll stay pretty flat. But the main functionality come when players need to wear sunglasses out in the field. A curved brim makes wearing sunglasses and a hat comfortably more difficult. Flatter bill means less interference.
