College Store or Off Campus Book Store. If they are significantly cheaper online I have ordered a few but I usually need them quickly so I just buy them in store.

Shug's in Auburn. Hands down the best service of any store in the area. It's the only place I use now.

rented my math book here for $50 this semester. I saved well over a 100 dollars. It was gonna cost me at least 180 used or 130 to rent at the campus book stores

I usually e-mail my professors a week or so before the semester starts and ask them what books I need. Takes about 5-10 minutes to save $200.

I would sometimes photocopy entire text books in the library...
I would either borrow them from someone for a night or occasionally the library even had some in stock.
This actually saved me a fortune in school text books.
a 1000 page book would cost me $30 at 0.03 cents a sheet with my student debt card.
And yeah, I know it was probably illegal but a poor college kid's gotta do what a poor college kid's gotta do.

Sounds like an idea for some underground money making ideas.
Hit up a fraternity and do all their books for $50 a piece.

I buy at the off campus bookstore and sell them on amazon at the end of the semester.
