I can tell you first hand (because I have met the man and know his mind) Franklin would never leave Vandy for a place like LSU. Franklin is by no means a redneck nor would he ever fit into that culture. If he leaves, it would be for some place like USC, Arizona, Ohio State, North Carolina, Florida etc.....
Vandy is currently paying him 3.5 million now and promising to deliver a state of the art stadium. Any team luring him away will have to pay dearly.

Why would Muschamp leave Florida for LSU? I can't see that one.
No knock on LSU, but many people feel Florida is the best coaching job in the country when you consider local talent, administrative support, and everything else.

I just don't see it. It would take a really, really ballsy AD to pull that trigger. He'd pretty much be risking his career on the chances that he hires someone better.
