I'll be surprised if this is only affecting Sallach.
We're paying Sallach $130k. Gonzo made $400k last year at Illinois(as Co-OC/WR coach). I guess it's possible...
But I know for a fact that Koenning has been "looking around" from sources outside of MSU. That is generally Dan's way of letting someone know that they are being replaced...

Whether it is Gonzo, Mullen, or Bundy we have to make a change with who is calling plays.
I don't think I can take another year of Koenning's garbage offense.

Yeah I don't know how they can afford Gonzales and Koenning at the same time. Plus I would think Brewster is going to get a nice pay bump soon.

Exactly.
If Koenning stays, he needs to be demoted to QB coach only. In fairness, he's done a good job recruiting the coast for the most part and pretty good in QB development.
Mullen knows he's going to have to pull playcalling from him. He's literally made EVERY other move that we've clamored for. Why would he not make this one at this point? He will IMO. Just gotta let the dust clear...
