Should Clowney Sit Out 2013?

Tom Sorenson asked the question, what does it benefit Jadeveon Clowney to play in 2013?
Florio of PFT states that Clowney is in a lose/lose situation of risking injury or lowering draft stock by not playing with both scenerios decreasing his draft value

Not having the lifelong stigma of sitting out tough situations to save himself for later. Why would a team draft a guy like that if in crunch time of a big game he might say "don't wanna risk my health, I'm gonna go ahead and rest up for next sunday"
And how much resting up does he really have to do, the shelf life of a super productive NFL player, in a GOOD scenario is what..like 10 years? Tom Sorenson sounds like a douche.

The whole story is a method for instituting the same policies that have screwed the college basketball world.
One and done would likely cause a drop in talent like has happened in the basketball world. Not only should football not change, basketball should more closely align with the football rules.

Someone tried to make this point with Mark Ingram sitting out back in '11. Just because of his Heisman year, and his surgery in the offseason had yet to happen.

This is ridiculous. If someone has marketable skills they should be allowed to sell them to the highest bidder. You probably wouldn't have liked it if out of college you had to work at a glorified internship for 3 years before being allowed to make real money.
These kids are already being exploited enough without these age restrictions.

I think injury is Clowney's only real concern. His physically abilites are such that he will still look dominate even if his on-field production decreases
