Any reasons still exist for your fans to rush the field/court?

At LSU, I can't think of any reason that our fans would need to rush the field in football or even the court in basketball.
Is this something that has become completely passé for all SEC schools or are there some schools that would still have an acceptable reason to rush the field/court?
If A&M had beaten Bama at Kyle Field instead of on the road, would their fans have rushed the field? Would that have been acceptable?
If Ole Miss wins the West, would it be acceptable for them to hike up their sun dresses and take to the field?
Are there any SEC goal posts that are still at risk?

Why wouldn't you have any reason to rush the court in basketball?

Our players rush the fans.

A .500 record, a post season victory, an ncaa tournament loss, a win over a top 15 team, just about any other mediocre accomplishment in basketball.

I did have to think about this one a bit. I wouldn't think they would need to rush the court for an SEC win. LSU has won the West and Tournament in the past.
Now, knocking off a non-conference #1 at home? I'd give em some slack on that one.

Probably, we'll find out 9/14.

We would have. If we do again next season, we better not.

In basketball we can. But the days of tearing down goalposts at Tiger Stadium are long gone.

I'm pretty sure the reason you never see fans on the field/court, is due to the excessive fines mandated by SEC rules...originally pawned off as a "safety issue", I can't remember seeing any recent SEC fans/rushing incidents

It'll never happen in Rupp in BB and rightfully so.
That said, we beat another #1 team or Florida in FB and it's happening.

Yes. Because technically it's illegal in the SEC.
