Memphis State was tough to swallow, but they had Penny Hardaway, so I wouldn't call it an embarrasment.

I always thought that the MTSU game was to set up the Louisville game, so was first round game.

Arkansas had played them close in Memphis and they were freshman. That 92 team was supposed to be a Elite 8 Final 4 team.
Murray State with Popeye almost beat the hogs first round iirc.

I don't really remember and I'm not looking it up. Also for Mizzou, I'd say last year losing to Norfolk St as a 2 was pretty bad.

Bucknell was a good team, you are saying embarrassing on name alone.
The UNC loss in Charlotte was more embarrassing than either of the two you listed.

i'd say uab over cal. we had beaten virtually that same uab team by like 17 the season before.

92 had Day, Mayberry, Miller, Bowers, etc they were expected to be in elite 8
