Freeze actually appears to be able to coach though, unlike that last guy Auburn had, forgot his name already.

Things looked promising in Chizik's first season at Auburn, too.

Ole Miss needs to follow with a similar class next year if they want to be real contenders.

I agree. It takes more than just one year.

We need to win at least 8 this year, show we are still improving and land another top 15 class

Didn't you win 7 this year? I don't know that winning 8 games after a top-5/6 recruiting class shows much improvement.

No shite

It takes years of top recruiting consistency and a good coach that knows what to do with the talent he gets and makes them better.

Example A: Bama with Nick Saban

Is it a crime for ole miss fans to be excited for once?

You should know how SECr works by now. Fans from the top teams will hate on you because they can. Fans from the dumpster-fire teams will hate on you because they don't want anyone else to be happy about anything. Obviously Ole Miss fans should be excited about this year's class, just don't expect Auburn fans to send you a congratulatory hallmark card.

Ole Miss has recruited several 5 stars in classes before. Guy from ESPN said having the top recruit in country bolted them into top ten.See the class wth Powe and Shaeffer.W/O RN,they would have been 12/16. Rebs have recruited good classes before.See the 4 stars in Orgeron's tenure.

Herbstreit said he was talking to some Bama players before the NC game and asked them what team impressed them this year on the field & was surprised when they said Ole Miss. Fought hard, etc. Freeze can coach.

Not a felony, but it will make the cops pull you over. Ole Miss should have started small and worked up to this type class. Bring in a couple of surprises this year. A couple more next year and then go for the mega top 5 class. Bringing them all in at once was just rubbing it in the face of the NCAA.

If we win all the games we did last year plus vandy and texas we will be sitting at 8 wins going into a bowl game. Those are the two games on the schedule that look the most promising. I think we will upset someone though..
