Do you think Alabama will win the title this season?

I think they have a great chance. The ball is in the hands of someone who put on an MVP style performance in the last title game. The coach has been there and knows what it takes to win it all. Sure, some offensive firepower from last year is now gone. But some young players will surely step up.

I look forward to seeing UA lift the trophy again out west.

I sure as hell hope not. It's terrible for the sport.

Not likely, but I am done assuming they are going to be an easy win some years. Those days are over.

How is it terrible for the sport? Another win for UA is a notch in the belt for SEC pride.

It's pretty much guaranteed this year.

Easy schedule, only 2 teams with a shot to beat us, get A&M after a buy week which is after a game vs. crappy VT, get LSU after buy week and they lost tons from last year, UGA sucks.

Bama is on cruise control straight to 3 Peat town!

I think what he is saying, is that a potential 4 of 5 National titles for Bama does not constitute parity in collegiate athletics.

With their schedule, if they don't they should be embarrassed.

Their toughest game is at home with a BYE, and their second toughest game is away with a BYE in a "revenge" game.

It would take a lot for UA to reach 4 out of 5...but you have to remember, a streak has to start somewhere.

It's not fun for rival fans, but i wouldn't say it's terrible for the sport.

The Bulls run wasn't terrible for the sport of Basketball. The Cowboys run of 3 in 4 in the 90's wasn't terrible for Football.

They open up the season away from home playing an OOC school. They play UT and LSU.

Bama has won 3 out of the last 4 National Titles. A win in the BCS Championship game next year would give them 4 out of 5.

What would be terrible for the sport is if y'all ever won it, but fortunately we don't have to worry about that.

The Alabama LSU game always seems to favor the away team more often. I always get nervous when Alabama plays big games at BDS.

I'm not sure if I appreciate what you are insinuating there Golfer. These schedules are completely random and are fair, or something.

Just think, Tennessee was a powerhouse not too long ago, and Bama has to play them every year - EVERY YEAR. Think about that. Back during Seinfeld's last season and when today's 15 year olds were not even born, Tennessee was damn good. And it's just a matter of time before they are good again. College football is cyclical you know. :inb4LSUwhiners:

No it's not. It's Bama pride. The SEC can't really brag if it's one team winning them all.
