You are the clear winner of that debate. Please tell Coonass he is wrong.

Yes but they'll most likely pull a Harbaugh and leave within four years.

Our former coaches tend to go onto something other than the unemployment line.

You may be right but I can't remember what Billy Kinard, Ken Cooper, Steve Sloan, Or Billy Brewer did after Ole miss.

Nope. Mullen is necessary to keep the good guy/bad guy image between him and freeze.

Great education at UM, reggieray. What's obvious to 'many' is you road/rode someone's coat tails through English I, I guess that's expected from a "double first name reb".

First, your friend is an idiot for thinkin DM has "run his course" at MSST. He is a good coach, probably the best that has ever coached at State, from a pure Xs/Os standpoint. Historically State is a lower tier SEC team and he's done very well considering. You really have to look at the competition in SECW he's facing. Bama, Lsu are both at the top of games, Ark has been rolling, (last year excluded) , Au is capable of being great every so often but is usually a tough team, now A&M has joined in on the fun; they have all the resources to become a major player. State will always be a tough team but I don't think will ever consistently be a top team but he will have a year where y'all have a chance to win the SECW if given time.

Not exactly what this thread is about but I had a state fan (who is a QB at ULL btw) tell me that state should have given Croom another year and that he would've had state at the next level. Surely this guy is a dumbass right?

I think State was in a better place after Croom left than when he got there but c'mon that place was in shambles after Sherril

I think that the 1st game of next year vs Oklahoma State in Houston is the biggest game in Dan's career at State.

Wrong. It's the Egg Bowl.
