quote:Perhaps A&M is attractive for recruits because Coach Sumlin has a proven track record on offense...He was setting offensive records at Houston and now he's doing the same at A&M. But why should any recruit take notice of this fact?
So now aTm is the place to go because of one guy who had one good year....lets slow down hoss.

We win for sure and maybe Ole Miss or Auburn beat you. Thus your 3rd/4th finish in the West. It's really not that hard to comprehend.

Sure it is.....I see no real gains at key positions for any of these teams (especially aTm) that would lead me to deviate from historical results.
So given only your a-hole smelling opinion yes it is hard to comprehend.

A&M wins 9 games this year, at best.
We barely even tried and walked out of batshit field with a win.

I think La Tech was a little better than Auburn this past season. Thank God LSU didn't have to play them otherwise yall might have not even made the Chicken Bowl.

I was wrong Auburn did not play Tech last year just ULM.
Carry on.
Carry on.

Why quibble? La Tech was A LOT better than Auburn or Arkansas or Mississippi State. Not close, in my opinion. And we were missing too many defensive starters because of injuries and/or suspensions and we were not anything like a veteran team and made too many rookie mistakes - it was a perfect storm. Not to make too many excuses - we'll definitely see La Tech players in the NFL. Particularly Quinton Patton and I'd guess Kenneth Dixon. La Tech could certainly have played in the SEC and done better than a bunch of teams.

You don't have to be a football expert to figure this one out. In fact, it's save to say now that Les Miles doesn't qualify as a football expert.

Why go to A&m and be in JM's shadow?
Because if you're 6'1", his shadow can't cover you?

so, was it a blowout or not?
you guys and your transitive associations are cute.
you guys are insufferable. i shudder at the thought of what sort of bullshite you guys would spew in the bizarre event that you have a 1 loss or undefeated season. terrifying.

There are three elite receivers in the region next year, four if you count Hall who should be playing DB, but will play WR for Baylor.
Quinn - best of the bunch IMO... sticky hands, and athleticism
Noil - fast. really, really, fast
KD Cannon - has all the measurables, and owned the 7 on 7 circuit as a junior
A&M has a decent shot with all of them, but is more likely shut out.

No matter how you phrase. No matter how many times you say it. No matter how much you wish late at night in your jammies as they rustle...
It's. Not. Happening.
EDIT: Just saw you leave off Sims & Dupre. Yeah, a real recruiting expert we've got on our hands here on the SECr it seems.
