Is it worth it? I need to bump my 27 to a 30+, I just need help focusing for the whole test.

You have problems focusing because you're not preparing properly. I would work the equivalent of 2 ACTs using Princeton Review during one session. Take only the one allotted break per test.

Dont take it for the first time on the day of the test. To get the full effect of vyvanse you need to take it every day. i would start about a week for the test at least. It does help.

I scored a 29 the first time I took it, then a 31 the second time. Just having the confidence of knowing what to expect will be good enough. Don't stress so freaking much, you should be fine.

Vyvanse really does help, but as stated earlier, you should see a natural increase in your score having already taken it once. Depending on your dosage you might experience jitters etc.

Good luck though. Class of 2017?

I took it twice, went from a 26 to a 30. No need to take anything since you'll more than likely do better the more you take it.

It will probably help, but I would do a test run or two so you know how you operate on it. Like others have said, the most helpful thing is just getting used to the exam and practicing it. A drug like vyvanse will allow you to concentrate harder for longer, but it won't make you smarter or more prepared for the type of questions on the test. Just make sure that you're able to still pace yourself correctly and that there's no adverse effects. I know when I've dabbled in such meds, I would easily lose track of time because I became so focused on something I forgot about the big picture.

Unless you were daydreaming in the middle of the test then it won't make a difference except probably make you a little more jittery and jumble your thoughts a little bit.

If you need to just write the word focus on you hand or something to remind you to keep your head in the test.

A 27 is a respectable score just study one of the books (they are stupid but do help on test day) and go in with confidence and a good meal and you should be fine.

Also ginseng is a vitamin that helps give a quick energy boost on the breaks.
