They just said the delay was trying to get the Niners sideline equipment up and running. Pretty interesting.

Whatever one side has, the other side has to have, too.

I remember my brother was coaching his poor high school against some big dollar private school. His walkee-talkees were picking up their Motorola headsets. He never said a word.

I went to the SECCG in 2010 and couldn't believe how many panhandlers there were. If NO has that problem like ATL why move it?

After watching the Super Bowl halftime show, its obvious the SEC is depriving itself by not hosting a championship game in New Orleans.

How did you reach that conclusion by watching the halftime show?

It wasn't just the halftime show. It was all day of the scenery, the weather, the parades, the views of Bourbon St., etc.

Beyonce was just the finishing touch.

New Orleans knows how to throw a party. That's nothing new... unless you're an A&M fan. We need vampire bats to impress them.

Beyonce didn't perform because it was in New Orleans. She performed because it was the Super Bowl. If the SECCG was in New Orleans, practically nothing would change. The only difference would be more stuff outside of the dome.

Agreed. Which is pretty significant.

Show me another city that has parades that attract millions, celebrities, world-reknowned musicians, entertainers and artists.

Otherwise, that giant Dr. Pepper can is sure appealing.

You know that Dr. Pepper can would be in New Orleans as well, right?

Egggzzactly. There are only a handful of cities that can accommodate the show that The Big Easy puts on. The Big Apple is one. Atlanta is another. I'm only saying that I think New Orleans could compete with Atlanta, given the geography and audience. Give New Orleans a shot.

Atlanta is just in a much better location for the SEC. Much more central location.
