Old timers don't forget him either. Could have gone to the pros, but went to medical school. Died of cancer young. One of Coach Bryant's favorites

Jeff Rutledge gets no credit for the National Title in '78 and had a decent NFL career.

That's because of the backfield he had lined up behind him: Tony Nathan, Major Ogilvie, and Billy Jackson.

Chase Daniel seeing as how everyone still thinks his last name was Daniels.

Pullig hasn't been forgotten.

I'd have to go with Mark Farris -- but in 5 years the answer will be Jerrod Johnson.

Rohan davey was so good. People don't remember him bc tenn too a cheap shot out of bounds and injured him. His backup came in and finished off the game then won a NC 2 years later. Kinda hard to be remembered like that but he was much better than NC winner Mauck. Just had unfortunate circumstances.

Leak was pretty much in the same boat as Rohan. Followed immediately by a NC QB and heisman winner.

Had tebow never happened, or been a little more sprea out, leak would have been more glorified.

Randy McCown?
Mark Farris?
Reggie McNeal?

All broke the single season passing yardage record one after another.

McCown didn't break any single season passing yardage records.

The most RM threw for was 2,374 while Murray was at 2,463.

I believe he is better than any quarterback who followed him at LSU. But, that's probably because he threw for 12 million yards against Alabama.
