Taylors only talent was how far he could throw a football. Holtz would put him in at the end of a game to let him overthrow a receiver by 20 yards and let the crowd go nuts. Outside of that he should have been playing at Harding.

He played in Canada for a few years after Arkansas, IIRC.

From what I'm told, when he was in highschool at Danville, he was also the team's kicker and punter, he was a barefoot kicker back when this sort of thing was popular for whatever reason.

Pat Trammell
I've heard some stories about Trammell from some of his old teammates that are still around N. Ala. Needless to say he was a "grown arse man" when still growing up in Jackson County. Went on to get his MD before Cancer took him at an early age.

He was awesome and nobody really talks about him. One of my favorite LSU quarterbacks.

Imma throw out D.J. Shockley for UGA... Only started one year 2005...

UGA won SEC, finished 10-3, #10 ranking...

Shock passed for 2600yds, 25TD's...5int's

Rushed for 350yds with 4 TD's...

JMO... never hear him mentioned...

Jeff Rutledge gets no credit for the National Title in '78 and had a decent NFL career.

Easily Corey Pullig. Greatest "winner" in Aggie history with 33 wins and 3 straight SWC titles.

To add to that, he wasn't a gifted runner. In HS he was a passing QB. But he ran the bone quite well and always had a high completion rate. His older brother, Gary, was pretty damn good, too.
