Randy McCown?
Mark Farris?
Reggie McNeal?

All broke the single season passing yardage record one after another.

Taylor was Hatfields first QB and his other talent was driving that old arse truck. He wasn't a veer or Flex QB. He was pretty good compared to younger Nutt and Calcagni.

For some reason if older brother went you got to play also.

No, the only ones who broke the career records were Corey Pullig (yardage), Reggie McNeal (yardage), and Jerrod Johnson (passing TD)

Johnny Manziel will own the entire record book after next season most likely, if not, he will own everything after 2014-2015.

So you must have been around the Hill the same time I was. I did know Brad and "knew" a few of the same Kappas that he did. Decent enough guy but not someone you could trust not to snake a girl out from under you.

Spencer Pennington?

Third String QB in 2004 promoted to starter after a string of injuries for Alabama QBs.

Quit the team after that season to focus on Baseball. No clue where he's at now.

Technically, it is impossible to give an answer that qualifies under the conditions of the OP. I dont remember the best qb that nobody remembers.

Well I took best as from my time actually attending UA to now.

He wasn't all that bad though, he could launch a nice bomb down field.

Brodie Croyle comes to mind. He would be an animal in our offense today.
