Anyway. Back to Myron Burton. Free article per AUC LINK

Big moment for Burton
Three-star receiver Myron Burton of Peachtree Ridge (Ga.) got some good news Tuesday morning.
Auburn, the school at which his father played, offered Burton a scholarship.
"It," Burton said, "means a lot."
That said, Burton, who claims a handful of offers and reportedly is a high Vanderbilt target, seems to be in no rush to pick a school.
"[Auburn] is high up on my recruiting board, definitely," Burton said. "I would love to get more in-depth with the program."
Burton is the No. 74 athlete in the industry-generated 247Composite.
His father, Myron Burton Sr., lettered as a defensive end on the 1993 Auburn squad that went unbeaten
The younger Burton, who is 6-feet-2.5 and 190 pounds, received a visit at his school last Friday from Auburn Co-offensive coordinator/receivers coach Dameyune Craig.
"He said an offer should come the following week," Burton told Auburn Undercover on Saturday. "He's staying on top of it, and said they like what they see. He just has to wait for Coach [Gus] Malzahn to sign off on it."
Burton camped at Auburn in July and was watched closely by Craig, head coach Gus Malzahn and offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee.
Through his first five games, Burton has 13 catches for 160 yards and two touchdowns.

We offered Burton today officially. And Juco Center/Guard Xavier Dampier got an offer and will visit for Ole Miss.

Dampier will visit for Ole Miss.

Per his coach via AUC, Andrew Williams is not expected here for The Ole Miss game. They plan to come to Auburn later.

IMO I think it's difficult to evaluate high school WR until they get into a camp and until they get to college practices. From my experience, most of them use their physical attributes and athleticism to murder little HS DBs and even then most of them don't have a strong-arm QB to get them the ball. A lot of HS use a 75% running game.
Coates has come a long way and I am more than pleased with his development. He has the potential to be incredible if he can use his speed to get the CB hips turned then cut back or in/out quick.
DQ is pretty polished right now with his routes and I think that's where he would excel @ AU if we could get the ball to him on-target. Comparing the two is a pretty tough task right now IMO.

Never said, suggested, nor implied that.
Lowspark was saying that Sammie couldn't even hold DQ's jockstrap.
All I am saying is depsite Sammie still having a very long way to go with his technical skills at the receiver posiiton, he is leading the league in YPC, is doing well in receiving yards plus has improved just about every game. He definitely is better right now than game one.
When Sammie has another year of quality non Troop-a-loop instruction under his belt plus a QB who can run 10% of the offense, I truly believe he will be a top tier SEC WR. He still needs to learn how to position himself considering he is 6'2 215 and bigger than every DB, he needs to work on consistency in catching as well as route running. All those things are pretty straightforward practice makes perfect kind of situations.

All I know is when I see Sammie on the TV he has already gotten 3-5 steps ahead of the DB.

Could be insurance for Sims or Casher. My guess is Sims.
Coach Grimes saw XD play on Saturday and liked what he saw.

This is why Myron Burton got offered. He dominated the Auburn camp this summer.

I really liked Burtons video. He looks good after the catch and blocking.

Haven't been reading this thread but what position is this Xavier guy? What's his rankings/offers?

C/OG. No rankings and AU only offer.

The latest article on RaShaan Evans after his visit to UCLA doesn't sound promising.

About a month ago I was out with 3 guys that all played football at Auburn High. 2 of them graduated last year and I asked about Evans. They said they had no clue where he would go to school, but it DEFINITELY wasn't going to be Auburn. They basically said he can't stand Auburn, doesn't want to play at home, and can't wait to get out of Auburn. They were laughing at the thought of him going to Auburn.
I hope they were wrong, but I've pretty much given up on the kid.

I don't like our chances either. Sucks, too.
