This picture almost started a war between Clemson and SC students (cadets?) on South Carolina's campus.

Clemson's cadets marched toward the Horseshoe around 1900 after we beat them and this picture ran in the Daily Gamecock, I believe. SC students gathered at the Horseshoe with rifles to defend our campus.
