Back to the question originally. Other UK posters are probably following Stoops' first recruiting class closer than me, but all indications I see is that he is getting most of the players he wants, so I think things are looking up for UK. Next year will be tough, but I think things are moving in the right direction.

It's the best looking class we've had in a while. Especially after the commitments of JoJo Kemp and Jeff Badet tonight. Still some big time players that we're in contention for as well.

Having played both, I can say Auburn was better.

After 2 quarters I remember God putting the mercy rule into effect during our game...

That team had given up. Everyone knew that.

I know, JLS, Paul Petrino, and Paul Haynes had an article about it yesterday.

Still blew you guys out and beat Auburn.

Congratulations. You beat two teams that fired their coaches.

So an abysmal 4 win Arkansas team hung 49 points on Kentucky in 2 and a half quarters and their fans are trying to talk shite about football to us

Won't know until fall Saturdays roll around. Butch seems like a likeable guy and there's at least some big time recruits that put UT towards the top of their lists. They weren't thinking about UT when Dooley was there. I'm hearing (reading) a lot of good things about him from people that have worked/played for him, so that's good i guess. But seriously, as with any of these teams, no one has any fricking clue how they're going to do until they start coaching games.

Why are you bothering to respond? Your program is an SEC bottom dweller as well. You know it. We know it. Everyone knows it.

I think Arkie will do well...a Big Ten coach who loves and understands running the football bodes well for the pigs.

Not sure about UT yet...dont know how their personnel will mesh with new system...but in 2014 or so there could be definite improvement. Recruiting is still a problem and only ace in their hand is playing time they can offer to high school kids...which is big.

AU? I just think AU needs defense to be rock solid and wont have that...plus is the priority of the new staff geared towards defense? I dunno but stay tuned. UK? Until they can get linemen on both sides of the ball they will be pushed around.

I think Arkansas will make it to bowl game and the other three I dont see being there yet. Just an opinion.

Out off the four new coaches i humbly believe that Tennessee has the toughest challenge to succeed. They will have to get out there and recruit nationally. I think Malzahn will do well in Lee County. Arkansas and Kentucky will do well.

I don't know where people got this myth that its really hard to recruit at UT. Knoxville is in a very good radius of Virginia, Carolinas, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. Tennessee has still outrecruited ranking wise programs like USCe, Oregon, Michigan(before Hoke), and Nebraska. That is without going to a bowl game in the past 2 years.

Also have you seen the instate players for the 2014 class? Its even better than this years class that has 3 five stars in it. 2015 is supposed to be even better than next years. Midstate in Tennessee is becoming a very good recruiting base. Its no surprise that Saban gets at least 2 kids from Tennessee a year, UF may even get 2 kids from TN this year if yall pull Jalen Ramsey.

Recruiting has never been a problem for UT.

UT has been garbage since 07 yet UT is still bringing in top 15 classes. Pretty much the same exact thing Bama was doing under Shula, and all the other coaches before Saban.
