How are the new bosses doing?

I'd think Auburn is feeling encouraged.

Cautiously optimistic is the term I'd use for Auburn.

Stoops is owning the recruiting trail. He's pulling guys that would have never considered Kentucky. We will have solid recruting classes the next few years. Stoops doesn't subside to the thought of Kentucky being a bottom SEC program. He's got a huge chip on his shoulder to prove himself. Kentucky just benifits on his experiances. We are lucky to have him.

The players seem to love Bielema and his staff and that he is a personable guy but still means business. He put together a HELL of a staff and has been recruiting extremely well. We've been on the radar for so many high recruits that we weren't an afterthought to a month and a half ago. He's locked some of thsoe guys in (Koehler, Skipper) and has a VERY good chance with some others (Collins, Kirkland, Lacy, Johnson). This class was never going to turn out to be stellar given the year of non-recruiting and shittastic coaching, but it is looking like it is going to be as good as it possibly cold have been. He's also gtting a head start on 2014 and has handed out a good amount of scholarships and been in contact with a lot of 2014 players. 2014 is looking like it could be a monster recruiting year. We've already got a 4* DT and a 4* dual threat QB who is being recruited by everybody and could possibly end up a 5*. And one of the top DTs in the country is from Arkansas and considered a Hog lock but just hasn't committed yet, which is annoying his momma.

Isn't Gus responsible for all those shitty QB's and other players on Aubie's offense last year?

It's funny he gets a complete pass from Auburn fans, he would have been fired along with the Chiz if he didn't bolt for Ark State.

You really believe Gus offense was run in 2011 without any restrictions?

You do realize we ran nothing similar to the Malzahn offense this past year so of course spread players will look like shite in a pro style offense?

Or is all of this too complicated for you to comprehend?

Running plays called by Gene Chizik and Scott Loeffler? Sure.

Agreed ^

Things really seem to be looking up around Kentucky. None of us should expect anything this coming season or probably even the next, but there is a lot to look forward to that's for sure.

Ever since we hoisted the trophy at the start of 2011 there hasn't been any good news at all. So yeah, cautiously optimistic is a great term to describe our attitude.
