To keep the tradition alive, the university and city will create structures at the College Street-Magnolia Avenue intersection that are suitable for rolling after the oaks are gone. Fans will be invited to gather there as they always have following big victories or other momentous occasions.

Each time I see more news about the trees, I think back to what Updyke did and think "Is this real life? Did someone really stoop that low?"
And I'm not even an Auburn fan.

Can you imagine the ongoing story if Harvey didn't come out and say that stuff?
The trees would be dying and no one would know why. A test later would show that they were poisoned, but this would come out after AU went bowl-less so people would be wondering who the hell would do it then?

Never rolled Toomers before, but I'll be at A-Day, so I'll probably try to make it a point to.
