Maybe a group of these top players got together and decided to come in as a package and "take over" a program with potential. Not unheard of. But you have to admit, this level of sudden success among the very top players is rather unprecedented.

This guy gets it ... Robert N. And Treadwell told our staff they were gonna deliver all these guys and they did.. Were there some hundred $ high fives and make out sessions with dime pieces at bar involved too? Absolutely But the reason we're closing this way is RN ... Without him recruiting so hard for us we don't crack the top 15

He's just got so many relationships already built at UGA and recruiting is about relationships. A guy like Tunsil who has not been a drama queen at all doesn't just change his mins at the drop of a hat a week before NSD to attend a school he just visited once.

Plus, who are these recruiting guys even talking to? I haven't seen a single quote from him, his mother, his girlfriend, his high school coach, or a handler.

Freeze is apparently a very able recruiter but to get to this level in Year 1 I think took the perfect recruiting storm. Nkemdiche to OM because of his brother was probably a lock. The key was likely Treadwell who Nkemdiche may have sewn up himself at the bowl game. Then the snowball started rolling downhill and has been getting bigger and bigger ever since picking up player after player.

Next year without the #1 recruit in the bag we'll see how Freeze follows this up. that will tell the tale but he's certainly been impressive so far this year. Ole Miss is in uncharted waters.

What are they selling?

Playing time. SEC. Program on rise. Opportunity to be "the guy" who helps get them over the hump. Beautiful campus. Beautiful women. Premiere program in the state of Mississippi.

Ole Miss has always had a lot going for it. They've needed the right guy. I don't think they are doing anything any "dirtier" than they were 2 years ago. Just better.

Hope you enjoyed that golden era of football, State fans. It would seem Ole Miss is about to join Bama, LSU, and AU as teams that own that arse.

It's not done. At all. He hasn't committed to OM. Now he is leaning toward OM, but we will see if our staff can reel him back in.

The offer to the other tackle isn't committable from what I've read

he's away on a recruiting visit. they're waiting until he's back in town. you don't offer a kid this close to NSD unless you feel a very strong need for a back up plan.

Clearly. But we offered Ford and we're still very in it with Kamara.

With that said, the only UGA insider on the interwebs that I trust just spoke and he said Tunsil to Ole Miss and we need to move on. Looks like I was wrong.

If RN goes elsewheres, these 5 stars will be mad and wonder what they were thinking going to Ole Miss.
